The college offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. courses in different specializations.

Admissions to B.Tech in all specializations are made based on marks scored in JCECE (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) conducted by govt. Of Jharkhand or JEE mains all India entrance examination. For M.Tech, admissions are based on marks in the GATE examination. For Ph.D., the candidates should have to take a written test conducted by the institute.

Minimum eligibility for B.Tech the candidates should have minimum marks in 10+2 qualifying examination with PCM as subjects. For M.Tech, the candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% of marks. For Ph.D., the candidates should have a master’s degree in relevant discipline with 55% of aggregate marks.

Fees structure for courses in our college is feasible and worth to pay. Fees can be paid yearly. I did B.Tech in Civil engineering and paid 68,362 in 1st year and 66,287 in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year and hence I completed 4 years of graduation with the total expenditure of 267,223. I got admission in this college through national level entrance examination. I appeared for JEE Mains; candidate can also appear for JCECE and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks. Minimum eligibility for admission as well as to appear for entrance exam is that student must have passed 12th with at least 50% aggregate marks with PCM as the compulsory subject.

I have passed Class 12th (Sci - PCM) with 63 per. marks. I have secured 66.81 percentage marks in JEE(Mains). I basically belong to Assam and presently staying in Ranchi with my parents who is employed in CRPF. Am I eligible for admission in BIT, Dhanbad. Kindly guide me.

Hi, the institute is a public institute which strictly follows merit based admissions. Candidate can fill the application form for the college and based on the cut-off and college set standards students will be selected and taken admissions.

The admissions are through JCECE exam and process will include counselling through which basic admissions are done. The Application form is available in the college portal so you can apply through website.
