Admission for Undergraduate courses like B.E. and B. Arch is based on the valid score obtained in JEE mains entrance examination followed by counseling and interview process in the institute, minimum eligibility criteria for B.E, Aspirant, should have passed higher 10+2 examination with 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category students).

The BBA and BCA course Admissions are based on the valid score obtained on the 12th. Admissions for Postgraduate courses like M. Tech and M.E are based on the score secured in GATE or any other equivalent examination. The candidate should have 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 examination.

Admission for Ph. D is based on the interview process in the college, and students must have a master’s degree with 60% minimum aggregate marks.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Obtained at least 45% marks(40% in the (SC/ST) reserved category) in the above subjects.
Candidates who are willing to get admission into BIT Patna must appear in JEE Mains Exams
and Fill out the Separate application of BIT-Patna.

Engineering & Technology (B.Tech) Lateral entry to 2nd year

To take admission in B.Tech 2 year using Lateral Entry Scheme, one must have Passed
Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institution with min. score 50% (45% in
case of (SC/ST) reserved category) inappropriate branch of

For admission in M.Tech courses, a GATE Scorecard is mandatory.

The institution offers UG & PG courses in engineering and management studies. Basic eligibility needed for admission into graduation is to have cleared 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks with PCM as the compulsory subject from a recognised board. I completed my B.Tech in computer science engineering from this college for which I appeared for JEE Mains entrance exam, because selection for admissions are made on the basis of score in entrance examination. I completed graduation of 4 years with the total amount of 7.2 Lakhs. Fees structure for other courses is also feasible as per my knowledge. Institution also offers scholarship on the basis of merit.

Birla Institute of Technology Patna Admissions for BE/B Tech is offered on the basis of JEE Main Entrance Exam score and must have qualified in 10+2 Exam with required aggregate score and the fee for B Tech charges approximate 2.46 Lakhs for 1st year and for remaining three years it charges around 2.69 Lakhs.

The JEE Main score is used to determine admission to the B.Tech at BIT, which is then followed by institute counselling.
