Birla Institute of Technology has all the UG courses of 4/3 years, and PG courses are 2 years of four semesters. The programs offered at the Birla Institute of Technology are mentioned below:

B.TECH Eligibility Criteria at Birla Institute of Technology:

  • Here the candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks and 55% For SC/ST
  • And should have the combined of 3 subjects Physics, Mathematics and any 1 subject out of Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology.

ADMISSION GUIDELINES:

  • Here the candidate of both General and SC/ST should have secured an aggregate mark in JEE MAIN.
  • Based on JEE MAIN, the further admission procedure is carried out at the Birla Institute of Technology.

M.TECH Eligibility Criteria Birla Institute of Technology:

  • The candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60%
  • The SC/ST candidate should have min 55% mark in aggregate from govt. Approved university with relevant subjects.

ADMISSION GUIDELINES:

  • The aspirants should have a valid GATE score in their respective discipline
  • And the first preference will be given to GATE-qualified candidates
  1. 80% weightage to marks obtained in Entrance Test
  2. And the Remaining 20% weightage to Class 10+12 and graduation / Post graduation Score.

M.B.A Eligibility Criteria Birla Institute of Technology:

  • The candidate should have Graduate Degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks or CGPA.
  • The SC/ST candidate should have min 45% mark in aggregate from govt. Approved university with relevant subjects

ADMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Here the admission shall be made based on the CAT /MAT/XAT/CMAT Entrance Exam.
  • And the final selection will be based on the Entrance Exam Score, Group Interaction, and performance in the Personal Interview.

B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria Birla Institute of Technology:

  • The candidates should have a 10+12 with a minimum of 50%
  • The SC/ST candidate should have min 45% mark in aggregate from govt. Approved university with relevant subjects.

ADMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Here the Admission is based on marks/scores obtained by the candidates in JEE-Main or AIPMT.
  • And the Merit list is prepared based on 60% weightage to JEE (Main) / NEET-UG Score [total marks obtained] and
  • And the remaining 40% weightage to marks in Class 12 / equivalent qualifying examination.

BHMCT Eligibility Criteria Birla Institute of Technology:

  • The candidates should have a 10+12 with a minimum of 45%

Can I get admission for the BCA program at BIT Mesra without any entrance exam?

BIT Mesra does not offer a BCA program in its curriculum. The institute will offer MCA at PG level for those who have completed graduation degree in BCA from a recognized University with a min of 50% mark. 

What is the B-Tech ECE cut-off score accepted for admissions at BIT Mesra?

If you're willing to get B-Tech admissions at BIT Mesra, then applicants must have finished their board exams in the science stream, followed by JEE Main scores. The ECE stream cut-off rank accepted through JEE Main is 27182.  

I want to be admitted for the B-Tech CSE stream at BIT Mesra.

BIT offers B-Tech admissions for those who have completed 10+2 board exams with a minimum of 50% or its equivalent. Students must have appeared for the JEE Main entrance exam. Birla Institute of Technology Mesra cut-off for CSE stream is 4356.
