• B.Tech - A minimum aggregate of 75% in PCM 10+2 exams (Physics, Chemistry, Math) and English, along with 60% marks in each subject.
• B.Pharma - A minimum aggregate of 75% marks in PCB and English and a minimum of 60% individually in each subject.

BITS Pilani Direct admission

• The board toppers from any recognized national/ state board will be given direct admission to their chosen programs. They should have the highest aggregate marks in PCM/PCB and English on their respective boards.
• The BITS Pilani International Admissions are made based on SATs scores ( a minimum of 1160 out of 1600) and class 10+2 aggregate marks ( a minimum of 7.5 on the 10 GPA scale)

About BISTAT

BITSAT is a national-level entrance test held for admissions to B.Tech/B.Pharma/MSc courses. The exam is held online mode for the duration of 3hrs. It will be held in two phases. In BITSAT Question Paper, there will be four sections. It is one of the most competitive exams, where 3 Lakh students apply yearly. Every year, BITSAT Registration begins in March. By the end of June, registration will be closed. BITS Pilani Exam Date will be scheduled for July. After BITS Result's announcement, other admissions processes will be carried out. Students who clear the exams will be able to participate in the BITS Counselling process.

The BITSAT exam pattern is:

1. Slot Booking- The applicants can book slots for BITSAT and exam centers.
2. BITS Registration Fee- The fee for female candidates is Rs. 4400 and for male candidates is Rs. 5400.
3. Marking Scheme for BITSAT- 3 marks for every correct question, -1 for every wrong answer, and 0 for unattempted questions.
4. Freezing- A student can freeze a seat in the counseling round. It will debar them from receiving seats for higher preference in upcoming rounds.
5. Sliding in the same institution- If a candidate chooses this option, they can only opt for branches on the same campus, and the higher preferences for the different campuses will be removed.

BITS Pilani M.Tech / M Pharm Admission Process

BITS Pilani offers admission to M Tech and M Pharm at the PG level. Students applying for these courses must sit for the BITS HD Admission Test. Valid scores are considered for offering admission. The merit list will be equipped based on the BITS HD Admission Test.

• Suppose students with valid GATE scores are not required to appear for the BITS HD Test (BITS Pilani M Tech Entrance Exam). They can apply for BITS Pilani M.Tech Admission based on valid GATE scores. As minimum eligibility criteria, students must complete a B Tech degree with an average of 60% Marks.
• Students who have passed the GPAT Entrance Test are also eligible to apply for BITS Pilani M Pharm admission. As eligibility, they must have completed a bachelor's degree B Pharm with a min of 55%.

About BITS HD Entrance Exam

The BITS HD Examination is as online as the CBT ( Computer Based Test) exam. The exam is organized annually, and the merit list is prepared accordingly.

• The mode of the BITS HD Exam is online, and the medium of the exam is English.
• The time duration of the examination is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
• The BITS HD exam will consist of 3 tests, including Test 1 ( 30 questions in 45 minutes), Test 2 (70 questions in 105 minutes), and a special test (50 questions in 60 minutes).
• The marking scheme for the MCQ is +3 for every correct answer and -1 for every wrong one.
• A score of 350+ is desirable out of 450 to get preferred branches.

BITS Pilani MBA Admission

Admission to the BITS Pilani MBA is based on the BAAT Scores. Thus, applicants who wish to apply for MBA must take up the BITS Pilani MBA Entrance Exam and are required to score well. Suppose students with valid CAT, XAT, or GMAT scores will be exempted from BAAT. But they are required to satisfy the BITS Pilani MBA Cut off: CAT is 75+ Percentile, XAT is 70+ Percentile, and GMAT Cut off scores are 620+.

BITS MBA eligibility is a minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in any qualifying degree for seeking admission. The degrees accepted include B.Tech/B.E./B.Pharm/B.Arch/MCA/ Integrated BITS First Degree program. Moreover, the applicant shall have attained a min of 60% marks in either of the subjects.

About BITS Pilani MBA Entrance Exam ( BAAT)

The business Analytics Aptitude Test ( BAAT) is organized by BITS to shortlist students for further rounds. The exam is in online CBT mode; the usual medium will be English only.

The exam pattern for the BITS MBA Entrance Exam consists of Management Aptitude and Analytics Aptitude. The Management Aptitude Section is 2 hours, including multiple correct questions with sections like verbal ability, data interpretation, logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. The analytics aptitude section is 1 hour, which tests applicants' mathematical skills.

BITS Pilani Ph.D. Admission

BITS Pilani offers Ph.D. Programs in several modes like regular mode, Ph.D. Aspirant Scheme, part-time mode, and faculty development scheme. The duration of courses ranges from 2 to 5 years, depending on the type of specialization the candidate chooses.

A monthly stipend is provided to eligible candidates based on their past academic records and current financial situation. The stipend can range from Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 31,000. Moreover, the candidates can pick courses from engineering, sciences, and management domains.

BITS Pilani Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant should secure 60% marks in M.E/M.Tech/M.Pharm/MBA or any other equivalent degree.
• The shortlisted candidate should work in an organization partnered with BITS Pilani for any of its Practice School activities.
