The Biju Patnaik Institute of Information Technology and Management Studies (BIITM) was formed in 1999 under the auspices of the Gokharneshwar Charitable Trust. Professor Dr Pratap Kumar Tripathy is the director of the BIITM. The college is allied with BPUT. The Biju Patnaik Institute offers MBA and Integrated MBA courses, which AICTE approves. In addition, guest lectures, business simulations, and other activities at BIITM help students gain academic and practical knowledge in an interactive environment.

Students must first complete the prerequisites of the BPIITMS MBA program before being accepted into the program. To be eligible for this course, you must meet the requirements listed below

  • The applicants should have got at least 50% in their undergraduate courses.
  • In addition, students must undertake either State or National Level Entrance Tests.
  • For MBA, admission at BIITM will be granted based on OJEE MBA or CAT, MAT, XAT, and ATMA scores.
  • 85% of seats will be reserved for OJEE MBA qualifiers. The remaining 15% reserves for the national level aptitude tests.
  • For the final selection process, candidates have to undergo a personal interview procedure.

Biju Patnaik Institute of Information Technology and Management Studies BBA+MBA Admission

Along with PG courses MBA, BPIITM offers admission to the integrated course that is BBA+MBA for five years. The annual intake for this course is 60 seats.

  • Before being accepted into the BPIITMS BBA+MBA program, students must first complete the requirements for admission. 
  • Candidates should have passed their 12th with a minimum of 45% marks.
  • The selection criteria for BBA+MBA will be based on the OJEE score followed by a Personal Interview.

I am pursuing MBA in Finance Management and the chosen course curriculum is good and it mainly covers all the major topics which is essential for studying. Biju Patnaik Institute of Information Technology and Management Studies admissions for MBA is done on the basis entrance exam score. I got admission through MAT Entrance exam rank. To say about admission fee it is quite moderate and it charges around 1.2 Lakhs for 1st year and for the complete duration it charges approximate 2.5 Lakhs hence the fee structure is moderate. Scholarship facility is provided for the meritorious candidates who have secured more than 80% marks.

Candidates for MBA admission to BIITM must have an acceptable score on the MAT, CAT, OJEE, or CMAT. The OJEE selection process accounts for 85% of student selections, with the remaining 15% coming from other national-level entrance tests. Based on the cut-off achieved, applicants are narrowed down for the PI. The cut-off OJEE score for admission was 3157. Through online counseling offered by JEE Cell, Bhubaneswar, the final seat allocation will be made. BIITM counseling and application process is held online.

Candidates having completed their graduation degree with 50% along with CAT scores and apply for MBA program in BPIITMS for admissions.
