This college is the first self-financing engineering college in the region. It is affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU). Eligibility for admission requires candidates to have completed 10+2. Selection to the BE program is based on valid scores in JEE Mains or CG PET conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). The Bhilai Institute of Technology Cutoff in CG PET is 44.286 to 54.306. The mode of admission process is online.
Recently I have completed B.Tech in computer science engineering and I felt that fees structure for courses is feasible; I completed 4 years of my graduation with the total expenditure of 2.8 Lakhs. College also offers scholarship on the basis of merit. Selection for admissions is made on the basis of score in entrance examination and valid score as per the cut off marks is mandatory. For graduation courses candidates can appear for national level entrance examinations like JEE Mains. In addition to this basic requirement for admission into any graduation course is to have completed 12th with at least 50% aggregate marks with PCM as the compulsory subject from a recognised board.
There are only limited seats for B.Tech and admissions will take place very soon every year, once the application form will be released seats will be filled very soon. Several specialisations are offered under B.Tech and they seek for eligibility of the candidates later based on merit only Bhilai Institute admissions will be granted for B.Tech. for any stream or branch we wish for. Like other colleges there is certain percentage of seats reserved for different category based students also so many scholarships offered too. Candidates can go to official portal of the college to fill the application form and submit the same.
In order to take Bhilaui Institute of Technology admission is through the JEE main or Chhattisgarh pre engineering test for B.Tech course. I had joined this college through the CG PET and then counselling for getting seat in this institute. The application form should also be filled while we get allotted with seat.
