BIEW is provisioned to avail courses at the Undergraduate (UG) level in B.E/ B. TECH in four domains. The number of seats is 100, inclusive of all branches.

  • The mandatory criterion for admission in the B.E/ B. TECH program at BIEW is rank obtained in the released TNEA merit list.
  • The most important thing to do is register oneself for TNEA and follow all other procedures as mentioned.
  • Candidates who have their names in the list released by TNEA are eligible to proceed for further counselling and fill their choice of preferences accordingly.
  • The TNEA merit list is prepared by considering the scores of 12th/10+2 marks. Therefore, candidates must secure above 50% as minimum marks in HSC/10+2.

Bharathiya Institute of Engineering for Women (BIEW) M.E/M. Tech Admission

  • Women aspirants who possess a relevant bachelor’s degree with 50% marks can seek admission to the PG degree M Tech at Bharathiya College.
  • Along with this, women candidates are also expected to clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET. Anna University conducts TANCET to get admission in postgraduate (PG) programs in Tamil Nadu.

  • Therefore, the pre-requisite step for the students seeking admission at BIEW is to register for the TNEA for  B Tech and TANCET for M Tech.
