The Institute is popularly known as BCET, began in the year 2001. BCET is approved by AICTE and affiliated with MAKAUT, West Bengal. The Institute has high tech infrastructure with facilities that will help students have a better life at the campus. BCET provides facilities like Central Auditorium, Sports, Hostels, computer labs and more. 

The Institute offers Undergraduate and Post-graduate programs in various fields.

  • The Institute offers B. Tech, BBA and BCA course in the UG program and MBA course in the PG program.
  • BCET offers a B. Tech course in seven disciplines for four years.
  • Eligibility for B. Tech at BCET, applicants must have passed 10+2 in PCM as main subjects with 45% marks.
  • Admission for the B. Tech course at BCET depends on JEE Main and WBJEE Main scores.
  • Seat allotment for the B. Tech course takes place after counselling rounds.
  • Candidates who have passed JEE Main examination will be allowed to appear in counselling rounds.
  • B. Tech Lateral is offered at BCET candidates must have passed Diploma or B.Sc with 50% marks.
  • Admission for B. Tech Lateral at BCET is based on the JELET examination.
  • The Institute offers BCA and BBA course is offered with 60 seats each for three years.
  • Eligibility for BCA course at BCET, students must have passed 10+ in maths.
  • Admission for BCA at BCET depends on merit as per the norms set by the Institute.
  • The Institute offers a BCA course to the candidates who have cleared 10+2 in English with 50% marks.
  • Admission for the BCA course at BCET is based on merit as per the norms set by the Institute.
  • The Institute offers MBA course to students who have 45% in graduation in relevant subjects.
  • Admission for an MBA course at BCET depends on MAT and JMAT conducted by MAKAUT.
  • Seat allotment for the MBA course takes place after the counselling conducted by the Institute.
  • Admission at BCET for UG and PG course is available on the official website.
  • The application form of BCET shall be filled with academic scores and entrance exam scores.
  • Once done filling application form, make online or offline payment of application fees. 
  • Candidates can submit the application form of NIT to the Institute.

For B Tech admission in BCET, candidates must have qualified 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Allotment of seats and admissions will be given based on WBJEE or JEE Main score basis. However, based on entrance tests and counselling basis, students are accepted to the course.

BCET does not offer admission to the B.Pharm. The courses available are in the fields of engineering, management and computer applications.

  • Admissions will be done on the basis of merit through the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Mains)

The Admission process or percentage required in Bengal College of Engineering & Technology is 

Eligibility process:-

  • Here the candidates should have to pass  (10+2) i.e., at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together 
  • (40% for reserved category) and with at least 30% marks in Englis

Admission process:

  • Admission Criteria is based on JEE score.
