Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology was started in 2000 to provide education to aspirants that inspires them. BCET is affiliated with VTU and approved by the AICTE. BCET offers a full-time course in B.Tech in 6 different types of specializations. Admission at Bangalore College is based on students' performance in the academic exam and entrance tests. In addition, the students at BCET get exposure to modern infrastructural amenities. Faculties are highly competent & well experienced, who trains the students in all the possible aspects. Additionally, BCET offers the best placement assistance to the engg graduates.

BCET B.Tech Admission

BCET provides for a B.Tech program at the Undergraduate level with six different specializations for four years.

  • Aspirants are required to have passed 10+2 (minimum 45% aggregate) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects to be eligible for the BCET B.Tech program. In addition, aspirants must also have English as one of the mandatory languages of study.
  • There will be 5% of relaxation applicable for the reserved category SC/ST/OBC.
  • Admission for B Tech at Bangalore College is based on the student's performance in KCET Entrance Exam. It is a state-level entrance test conducted by KEA.
  • One must appear for the entrance test to be eligible for securing admission to the engg streams. And, most notably students must satisfy the BCET's KCET Cut off Rank defined by the college.
  • Non-Karnataka students willing to secure B Tech admission in BCET have to apply through COMEDK Score.  They have to undertake the test by registering online via the official website.

BCET Application Process

  • Visit the webpage of the BCET. On the home page, click on the admission tab.
  • You will be able to find the Online application form link.
  • Fill out the application form of BCET with all the required details and upload the scanned documents according to the prescribed format.
  • Based on the valid score acquired in COMEDK UGET or  KCET, the counselling will take place.
  • Through counselling, the candidates shall be admitted into their favored course.

Can I get direct admissions for the B-Tech program at BCET?

Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology B-Tech admissions are based on academic merit in qualifying exams followed by entrance exam scores like KCET/ COMED K. Based on the counseling results seats will be allocated.  


I would like to join B.Tech in Computer Science. Pls. Let me know the admission criteria & fee structure.

Admissions are open to candidates who have completed 10+2 with a valid score. Admission to BCET for B.Tech is based on the results of exams such as COMEDK UGET and KCET. The institute holds counselling and offers a seat to the deserving candidate based on their performance in the admission exams. Students that meet the cutoff criteria for admission will be accepted. On a provisional basis, candidates whose 10+2 results have not yet been released may apply. Candidates who have graduated from the Karnataka State Open University, on the other hand, are not eligible to apply. The KCET cut-off for BE Computer Science and Engineering is 39375 in general, while the COMEDK-UGET cut-off for BE Computer Science and Engineering is 22094. B.Tech fee structure for the entire course will cost around INR 5 lakhs, as the students can make the payment academic yearly basis it would cost approx. INR 1.25 lakhs each year.

Through KCET or COMEDK entrance exam followed by counselling basis B.Tech admission to Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology can be taken by the students. Candidates must have passed 10+2 PCM with not less than 45% aggregate to be eligible to apply.

KCET cut-off for B.Tech Information Science & Engineering in BCET is 71494

COMEDK cut-off for B.Tech Information Science & Engineering in BCET is 44967

Hi Ayur,

Admissions are based on the valid score secured in KCET/ COMEDK / Management test. A minimum eligibility criterion is that the student must have cleared 10+2 examination with 45% score.
