AVS College of Arts & Science is private college which has been approved by AICTE, New Delhi and accredited with NAAC. It has been under the affiliation of Periyar University, Salem and recognized by UGC. This College has known for its courses under various different fields. All the confirmation of AVS college admission will be made as per the guidelines provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu. AVS College of Arts and Science application forms and prospectus can be obtained from the main college portal.

  • This institute offers Arts programmes such as B.A, B.Com and BBA whereas the science programmes are BCA and B.Sc at undergraduate level. The PG level arts programmes are M.A in English and M.Com whereas science porgrammes are M.Sc. in different specializations.
  • AVS College of Arts & Science Admission to these courses will be done based on two criteria which are Merit based as well as entrance exam based. Merit based admission are applicable only for those candidates who are willing to take admission for UG courses.
  • Candidates who seek admission for Master degree programmes are selected based on TANCET examination which a state level entrance exam is held in Tamil Nadu conducted by Anna University.
  • In order to take admission in AVS College for undergraduate courses candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination. For B.A in Tamil he/she must have cleared Tamil Language paper in HSC level and B.Sc. course will need basic eligibility of having 10+2 passed particularly in Science stream having relevant subjects.
  • Students can get application form of AVS College on the official website itself. There is separate application form available for download on the official website.
  • There is advance amount in AVS College to be paid for online admission which is Rs. 2000 for Arts and Science courses both UG and PG level.

  • Candidate must have passed in Higher Secondary Examination or Equivalent Examination recognized by the Govt.of Tamilnadu.

PG  :

  • Candidate must have any Bachelors Degree with a study of Mathematics or Statistics for two semesters is adequate

On basis of entrance exam score AVS College admission to MBA will be processed like candidates can either take admission through management quota or based on marks obtained in the entrance exam. Bachelor’s degree in full-time is required with acceptable marks and state/national level entrance exam is mandatory to seek general AVS College admission for MBA. For those students was not able to take admission through counselling can apply for direct admission and based on graduation eligible marks seats will be allotted. The application form has to be completed for confirmation process and the cost of application form is INR 50.

Candidates who have completed their intermediate science stream are eligible for admission to the B.Sc. at the Shri Ram Murti Smarak School of Nursing. Selection criteria include the qualifying exam merit.
