Ashoka Institute of Engineering and Technology is located in Hyderabad, Telangana and was established in 2009. It is a private engineering and technological institute. The institute is run by the Gajanan Shiksha Samiti. The college is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Its courses are accredited under the AICTE, Delhi. The institute aims to provide high-quality education.  They have modern facilities and advanced technologies.  The Ashoka Institute of Engineering and Technology offers courses such as Diploma, BTech and MTech. The institute has been rated B++ by the NAAC. It had also been rated 125th for BTech by the Times of India in 2019. The college campus has been spread over a vast area of 26 acres of land.

Eligibility Criteria Required

  • Students interested in the BTech course must have passed their 10+2 exam.
  • They should have at least 45% aggregate marks in PCM subjects.
  • Applicants from the reserved category are given 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks.

Selection Criteria

  • Students should also have qualified for the TS EAMCET entrance exam to be eligible for the BTech course.
  • The EAMCET code for the AIET is ASOK.
  • Selection is done based on the merit list of the TS EAMCET entrance test.
  • The allocation of seats is done through the EAMCET counselling procedure.
  • Candidates have to register for the same to get a seat at the Ashoka Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET).
  • The selection of candidates for 70% of the seats is done through EAMCET counselling.
  • The rest, 30%, is reserved for management quota students as well as NRI students.

Ashoka Institute of Engineering and Technology MTech Admission

  • The Ashoka Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET) offers a Master of Technology to its PG candidates.
  • The MTech degree is available in 4 streams for PG applicants.
  • 24 seats are available in each specialization.
  • Applicants must have a BE or BTech degree with a 50% score in their respective specialization to seek admission to the MTech course.
  • They must also appear for the state level entrance test, TS PGECET and the national level entrance exam, GATE.
  • Students should secure qualifying scores to be eligible for admission.

  • Diploma courses in engineering are available at the Ashoka Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET) for the10th passed students.
  • Candidates should have passed their 10th examination with 35% marks to seek admission to the polytechnic programs.
  • For reserved category students, the minimum aggregate marks required are 33%.
  • Students should've also qualified in the TS POLYCET exam.

Yes, 30% of seats are reserved under Category B/Management Quota. Thus, applicants who meet the minimum eligibility requirements are eligible to apply for AIET Hyderabad.

B-Tech admissions at AIET Hyderabad are based on academic merit qualifying exams followed by TS EAMCET scores.

Ashoka Institute of Engineering & Technology Hyderabad accepts candidates with board exam scores with a minimum of 50% marks in the science stream followed by TS EAMCET scores.

AIET will consider B-Tech admissions based on 10th and 12th board exams with academic merit followed by JEE Main or TS EAMCET scores.
