The Institute was established by Apollo Group of Educational Institutions in the year 2007, Chennai. AEC is a self-financing college approved by AICTE and affiliated with AU. The vision of AEC college is to provide 100% professional education in a comfortable environment. Courses like B. Tech / BE under UG and MBA, ME under PG level. Admissions for UG and PG courses at AEC are based on TNEA counselling and the TANCET entrance exam.

  • The Institute of AEC offers B. Tech and BE course under UG level and ME, MBA course under PG level program.
  • Admission for B. Tech and BE course at AEC is based on TNEA counselling session conducted by AU.
  • Admission for ME courses at AEC is made through the TANCET entrance test conducted by AU.
  • Admission for an MBA course at AEC depends on marks obtained in the TANCET exam conducted by Anna University.
  • Candidates who have qualifying marks in CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT can also apply for an MBA course.
  • Applications for UG and PG courses are accepted online by the college. 
  • Seats for the students applying for UG and PG course at ACE will be allotted by the concerned authority based on their scores. 
  • After the allotment of the seat to AEC, candidates will have to visit the college and pay course fees for confirmation. 

Apollo Engineering College B. Tech / BE Admission 

The Institute of AEC offers BE course in seven disciplines for four years. AEC offers a B. Tech / BE course is being provided with 120 seats per annum. 

  • Eligibility for BE course at AEC, candidates must have scored 50% marks in the 10+2 exam with PCM as main subjects. 
  • Admission for BE at AEC is based on Merit and TNEA counselling conducted by AU.
  • During the counselling, session candidates will have to fill the registration form with documents and course details. 
  • Eligibility for BE lateral course at AEC, students must have passed diploma or B.Sc with 55% marks in Maths as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates who belong to BC must have scored 45%, and for MBC / SC / ST, it is 40%.

Apollo Engineering College ME Admission 

The Institute offers two years full-time ME course to eligible students. ME course at AEC offers four specializations with an intake of 18 students per year. 

  • Admission for the ME course at AEC is based on GATE/ TANCET examination scores.
  • The final admission for the ME course at AEC depends on the TANCET counselling session.  
  • Eligibility for ME course at AEC, candidates must have passed B. Tech or BE with 50% marks from a recognized board. 
  • Candidates of the SC / ST category must have scored 45% to get admission.
  • Selected candidates for the ME course at ACE will have to visit the college to complete the admission process.

Apollo Engineering College MBA Admission 

AEC offers an MBA course for two years with an intake of 60 students per academic year. Eligible students with qualifying marks shall apply.

  • Eligibility for MBA course at AEC, applicants must have 50% marks in any undergraduate degree.
  • Admission for the MBA course at AEC is made through TANCET admission.
  • Candidates who have also passed CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT can apply for an MBA course. 
  • Final admission for the MBA course at AEC depends on the TANCET counselling process.

The college offers under graduation and post-graduation courses in engineering and management programs. Fees structure for courses is feasible, also college offers scholarship to students on the basis of merit. I completed my B.Tech in computer science engineering with the total expenditure of INR 1,12,000. For admission I appeared for TNEA entrance exam and on the basis of score I got seat in this college. Valid score as per the cut of marks is mandatory to get admission in Apollo Engineering College. In addition it is mandatory that student must have completed 10+2 with an aggregate of 50% marks with PCM as the compulsory subjects.
