The Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Administration, formerly Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Business Administration, was founded in 1991-1992. It operates under the affiliation of Osmania University and holds the approvals of AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

 

Throughout its history, the College has garnered a reputation for excellence at the state level, primarily due to its commitment to producing professionally trained graduates who cater to the specific demands of various industries.

 

The College is famous among the locals of Hyderabad and is preferred for its flagship MBA course. Selection is based on the TS-ICET exam conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal. The selected candidates are further called for TS-ICET Counselling. AAKCBA Hyderabad also provides admission in Integrated MBA (BBA+MBA).

Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Administration Course Admission

Amjad Ali Khan offers admission to the MBA and integrated course BBA+MBA. Students must make sure of the eligibility norms before applying for admission.

 

Amjad Ali Khan College BBA+MBA Admission

The duration of this course spans five years, covering ten semesters. To be eligible for admission, students should meet the following criteria:

 

  • They should have passed the 2-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Government of Telangana State.
  • OR, the HSC examination of the Government of Telangana State (equivalent to the XII standard).
  • They must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category students like SC/ST).
  • ITI certificate holders are not eligible for admission into this course. However, candidates who have completed any Diploma course through a Polytechnic in Telangana State are eligible.
  • Students who completed (10+2) from the National Open School or obtained a diploma from any polytechnic or (10+2) from a location other than Telangana State should obtain an equivalent certificate from the Board of Intermediate, Government of Telangana State.
  • They should confirm their eligibility for the 5-year dual-degree course by providing the certificate.
  • Admission in the first year is considered admission to the "5-year dual-degree course," there is no need for re-admission at any stage of the course unless a student discontinues after the 3rd or 4th year.
  • Please note that students must complete the course within ten years of entry. This period is twice the duration allowed by OU norms.

Amjad Ali Khan College MBA Admission

To be eligible for admission into the Amjad Ali Khan MBA College, candidates must fulfil the following conditions:

 

  • The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree from Osmania University or possess a degree recognized by the University as equivalent. Alternatively, they should meet the eligibility criteria specified by the University.
  • Candidates seeking admission must successfully qualify in the TS ICET conducted by the appropriate authority in the year they intend to join, following the norms set by the University.
  • The admission of Non-resident Indians (NRIs) and candidates admitted in place of NRIs will be by the University Rules applicable on the admission date.
  • Admission for foreign candidates will be determined based on the University's current screening process. Thus, the applicants need to participate in TS ICET Counselling.
  • The annual intake is 180 seats. Of that, 54 seats are reserved for Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Administration Management Quota. (B Category seats)

 

Instruction Schedule:

The instruction will adhere to the workload outlined in the structure, rules, and regulations of the MBA Program, encompassing all aspects of theory, practical coursework, and project requirements. The academic calendar for all semesters is as follows:

  • Duration of instruction: 14 – 16 Weeks
  • Preparation Holidays: 7-10 Days

Attendance Rule:

Students are required to attend a minimum of 75% of the total classes held for all courses within a semester. In exceptional cases due to medical reasons, a relaxation of up to 10% of attendance may be granted upon submission of a valid medical certificate and payment of the condonation fee prescribed by the University.

I have opted MBA in Finance Management Specialization right now am pursuing 2nd year. Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Administration admissions will be based on the entrance exam score. I had appeared for TS-ICET entrance Exam and qualified with good marks based on the score I took admission in this college on the basis of score and candidates can apply the application form through online and the AAKCBA application fee charges around INR 1000 for General Category students and INR 500 for SC/ST Category Students. Department teaching faculties are good and co-operative and even the facilities which they are providing it is good.
