Akal College of Nursing is one of the best institutions located in Himachal Pradesh. It was established in the academic year of 2011. Akal College of Nursing trains and prepare professionally competent and dedicated nurses, embedded with the spirit of service to humanity. Akal College of Nursing was approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and affiliated with AICTE.

  • Akal College of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) and Master of Science (M. Sc) in Nursing.
  • B. Sc in Nursing at Akal College of Nursing is four years duration program. Total intake of students into B. Sc program at Akal College is 60 students per annum (30 State quota seats and 30 management quota seats).
  • Minimum eligibility required for admission into B. Sc program is that candidate must have passed 10+2 level or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • The final selection for admission is based on candidates' scores in the entrance examination conducted by the college. 1st preference will be given in order of merit in the 10+2 qualifying examination of all the candidates irrespective of Himachali Bonafide status who have appeared in the B. Sc Nursing Entrance Test. 
  • M. Sc at Akal College of Nursing is two years duration program. Female candidates with B. Sc Nursing/ Post Basic Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks can apply for admission into the M. Sc program.
  • The total number of seats available for the M. Sc program at Akal College of Nursing is 20 seats per annum.
  • Application form for admission into B. Sc or M. Sc program at Akal College of Nursing is available online on the college's official website. Candidates can fill the application form online and pay the application fee through Net Banking or Credit/ Debit card.

B.Sc. Nursing at ACN is a 3 years program at the UG level. Applicants must have passed 10+2 board exams with PCM subjects as mandatory. They must have secured min of 45% marks and no entrance exam is required. 

Is there any entrance exam required for B.Sc. Nursing admissions at ACN?

B.Sc. Nursing is a 4 years UG program offered at ACN. Applicants must have passed 10+2 board exams with PCM as a mandatory subject.
