AEC B.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • An applicant must pass a 10+2 or equivalent test from a recognized board, including Physics, Chemistry, and Math as required courses.
  • In all, a minimum of 45% (40% per cent for reserved category) is required.
  • A valid MHT-CET or JEE Mains score for the academic year is required.
  • Admissions are made based on qualifying entrance exam results, such as the MHT-CET or JEE Mains.
  • Candidates who have completed their Diploma with 45% marks can apply for AEC's B Tech Lateral Entry course.
  • The selection of the candidates will be based on the student's performance in the entrance test, followed by CAP counselling.
  • Candidates have to register online for CAP through DTE/MHCET Portal/official website based on JEE Main or MHT CET Results.
  • The final seat allotment process will take place through CAP rounds. If any seats remain vacant after all the rounds of CAP, the institute will display the availability of seats under the Institute level quota.
  • Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State and other states that satisfy the prescribed eligibility norms can apply to the institute level quota.

AEC M.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • Students who have completed a B.E /B. Tech in a relevant subject will be considered for admission to the programme.
  • A candidate must have earned a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology in a relevant field from a recognized university.
  • Students who are taking their final exams are also eligible to apply.
  • Qualifying marks in the B. Tech programme and a score in the GATE entrance examination for the academic year are required for individuals seeking admission to M. Tech degree programme.
  • Henceforth, students have to undertake the GATE Entrance Exam and are required to secure a valid score in it.
  • The selection of the students will be based on GATE followed by CAP Counselling. Candidates can also seek M Tech admission under the Institute level quota at AEC in case seats remain vacant after CAP rounds.
