Abasaheb Garware Institute Of Management Studies MBA admission

AGIMS offers a full-time on-campus Master's in Business Administration at the PG level. The course is offered in the field of Management studies. The timeline of the MBA program is two years and four semesters.

AGIMS MBA eligibility

To be considered eligible to apply to the MBA program at AGIMS, candidates should pass the following eligibility criteria.

For Maharashtra category students

  1. Candidates should have a domicile of the state of Maharashtra.
  2. Candidates should have completed their Bachelor's level program in any field. In addition, the program should have been offered by any university approved by the UGC or AIU.
  3. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
  4. In the case of the candidates belonging to the reserved category, the minimum aggregate marks should be 45%.
  5. Must have scored a valid mark in the CET conducted by any competent authority.

For non-Maharashtra state students

  1. Candidates must have the nationality of India.
  2. The applicants should have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university in any stream.
  3. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  4. Candidates must have scored a valid mark in the entrance exam, CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/GMAT/ or CMAT.

AGIMS selection criteria

  • The mode of admission in the MBA program at AGIMS is entrance exam-based.
  • Candidates seeking admission in the MBA program at AGIMS can undertake
  1. The state-level common entrance test MAHCET. The DTE, Maharashtra state government conduct this.
  2. Or any national level entrance exam like GMAT/MAT/CAT/ATMA/CMAT or XAT.
  • The enrollment of candidates will be done via the Centralized Admission Procedure. Once the CAP registration process concludes, the competent authority will prepare the merit list by compiling the marks of the UG degree and entrance test scores.
  • The candidates are required to enrol themselves under the CAP counselling.
  • The applicants should have to select AGIMS in the list of their preferred colleges.
  • Selected candidates will be called for document verification and seat freezing round at the institute.

MBA admissions at AGIMS are based on a graduation degree from a recognized University with CAT or MAHCET cut-off scores. The applications will be accepted in online mode by visiting the official website.

Completed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate is the eligibility required and based on CAT/GMAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/XAT or MAHCET score basis followed by counselling MBA admission to Abasaheb Garware Institute Of Management Studies will be offered. MAHCET cut-off for MBA is 47.
