AICTE has set eligibility norms for appearing in the CMAT 2025 entrance test. Candidates must be a citizen of India in order to appear for the test. Candidates should hold at least graduation degree for appearing for the test.
Students who have completed their graduation degree in arts, commerce and science are eligible for applying for the examination. Candidates in the final year of graduation are eligible for applying for the entrance test.
General candidates should have a score of at least 50 % in graduation whereas scheduled tribe and scheduled caste should obtain 45 %. The bachelor degree should be of at least 3 years duration. For executive PGDM, a work experience of 5 years is mandatory.

- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must be a graduate from any recognized university or institutions.
- The final student appearing for graduation whose result will be released before the start of the academic year 2019-2020 session are also eligible for CMAT 2018 exam.
