To apply for CGPET, candidates should meet the CG PET 2025 eligibility criteria prescribed by the CPEB (Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board). The common eligibility for all the courses is that applicants must be citizens of India and Chhattisgarh residents.

Engineering: Candidates should have cleared 12^th Examination in science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with any one of the vocational subject), and candidates should secure a minimum 40 aggregate score in qualifying Examination. Candidates who belong to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) must secure a minimum 40% aggregate score.

Agricultural Engineering: Applicants seeking to apply for the Agricultural Engineering discipline through CGPET must have qualified in 10+2 Examination in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects) from any equivalently recognized board. Candidates who belong to the general category must obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying Examination. Candidates who belong to the reserved category can attain a 40% aggregate score.

Dairy Technology: Aspirants who are willing to apply for Dairy Technology Course through CGPET must be above 17 years of age and have passed the 12^th grade with required 50% aggregate score in science stream (Physics, Mathematics, English, Chemistry as compulsory subjects), and candidates in the reserved category (OBC/SC/ST/PH) can obtain minimum 40% aggregate score

Candidates seeking to appear for the Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test 2025 (CGPET) must fill out the CG PET 2025 online application form. Candidates need to submit the application form by the deadline. The exam authority has yet to officially release the CG PET 2025 application form and the last date. Until then, candidates can refer to the to the tentative schedule. 

• Applicants must visit the official website (www.cgvyapam.choice.gov.in) and search for the Entrance Exam link, then click on “Online application form for CG PET 2025.”
• The application form page will open, and then candidates need to fill up the required details, like educational details, contact details, and correspondence details, which are mentioned in the application form.
• Candidates are requested to enter their valid A/C number, Aadhar number, and PAN card number in the application form.
• After filling out the form, applicants will receive a registration ID number for the CGPET examination.
• Candidates need to upload the passport size photo and signature & thumb impression in JPEG format, and the file size should not exceed 50 KB.
• Candidates need to pay the required application fee and submit it.

CG PET Application fees

Candidates can pay the application fee for CG PET 2025 Examination as per their category, as mentioned below. The application fee payment mode is online, and it can be paid through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or through downloaded bank challan of SBI Bank (any branch).

CG PET 2025 Exam Patterns

The CG PET 2025 examination will be conducted in offline mode. The Pattern of Examination is in MCQ Format. It covers 150 questions from three topics (Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics). Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. Candidates need to attempt all 150 questions. The duration of the time to complete the Examination is 3 hours. The Examination will usually be conducted in May every year (Tentatively)

CGPET 2025 Syllabus

The CGPET Examination syllabus has covered three main subjects, namely Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Questions, from the subjects studied in 12th grade. So the candidates should be aware of the complete 12^th Syllabus of main topics. Each subject's weightage (Marks) is 50.

Eligible candidates who have completed the CG PET 2025 online application process will access the CG PET 2025 admit card via online mode before the due date. The admit card for CGPET contains important details such as the candidate's name, examination venue, registration ID, and time & date of the examination. After getting an Admit card, candidates need to check the details properly mentioned in the Card. If any mistakes are found, candidates need to contact the correction's helpline. An admit card is significant for appearing for an entrance examination without an admit card. Candidates will not be allowed to take the exam.

Candidates need to carry any of the following documents: 12^th Marks Sheet/Pan Card, Adhar Card, and Admit Card for the examination center.

How to download CG PET 2025 Admit Card

• First, you need to visit the official website and click on "the "Admit" Card" Link.
• Then the admit card portal page will open.
• Candidates are requested to log in by using the registration ID.
• After a successful login, the CGPET admit card will be displayed on the screen.
• Then candidates can download it and take a printout of it. 

CPEB (Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board) will declare the CG PET 2025 results after the examination. authority will declare the result in July. The result of CG PET includes the marks obtained in the 12^th Examination and the student's rank in the entrance exam. CPEB authority prepares the merit list based on the candidates' rank in the entrance examination. To check out the result, candidates need to log in by using the required credentials, such as registration number and other details. After the declaration of results, candidates need to attend the CG PET 2025 counseling session.

CG PET 2025 Cut Off

(CPEB) Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board will declare the cutoff list through online mode, and candidates looking to get admission for engineering in Chhattisgarh colleges must meet the cutoff criteria, which the authority will prepare. CG PET cutoff list includes opening and closing ranks, and it will be different for several colleges and engineering program disciplines. Several factors will be measured to determine CGPET cutoff, such as the number of candidates who appeared for the Entrance Examination, the difficulty level of the Exam, Candidates' performance, Seat availability, Previous year's cutoff trend, etc.

A separate cut-off list will be released for JEE Main Entrance Exam and CGPET Entrance Exam. Apart from this, the cut-off score varies for each category. Candidates who obtain an equivalent score or above the declared cuff-off score can get admission to the participating colleges' engineering courses.

CG PET 2025 counseling will be conducted online in July. The authorities will organize separate counselling processes for CGPET qualified candidates and JEE Main Entrance Exam-qualified candidates. Firstly, qualified candidates need to register online to participate in the CGPET counseling process. Online Counseling includes several steps, such as payment of counselling fees, document verification process, and choice filling. Seat allotment will be based on the candidate’s rank obtained in the entrance examination and seats.

CG PET 2025 Counseling Procedure

Step 1: Registration for CG PET 2025 Counseling: Candidates who wish to appear for CGPET counseling must register themselves through online mode by entering the required details, such as their roll number, date of birth, and other relevant details. After successful registration, a Unique Registration ID will be generated. Candidates need to log in to the portal using a registration number & password.

After the login, candidates must enter the details properly as mentioned in the form and upload the scanned image with a signature in a prescribed format.

Step 2: Payment of fees: In the next step, candidates need to pay the required CGPET counselling fees online, and fees can be paid through debit or internet banking.

Step 3: Choice Locking: After paying the counselling fees, candidates must choose the institute and desired course. Candidates need to choose a maximum number of institutes to raise admission possibilities. Candidates are requested to lock in their choices before the due date and take a printout of it for future reference.

Step 4: Document Verification: After completing the choice locking process, candidates should report to the allocated centres for the document verification process. Candidates should carry all the relevant original educational documents with Xerox copies at the allotted centre for verification. After completing the document verification, candidates will receive a receipt and acknowledgement slip from the authority.

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board has declared the list of examination centers, and the CG PET entrance exam will be conducted at 28 exam centers. The examination center's allotment for each registered candidate will be based on the candidates' preferences. So while filling out the application form, candidates must choose the desired examination center properly at their convenience.
