Raja Rajeshwari college of engineering was established in 2006. The institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technical University VTU, Belgaum, and holds a private status. The institute is managed by Moogambigai Charitable & educational trust (MCET ) Bengaluru. It is a part of the RR group of institutions. The campus is located in  Bengaluru, a  prominent city in India's economic development, as it offers immense employment opportunities due to its corporate sector status. Moreover, it is home to many good institutes offering engineering & management courses. In less than a decade, it has emerged as One of the Top 10 Engineering Colleges in Bangalore.

The Raja Rajeshwari college of engineering courses includes B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. The undergraduate courses are offered in 6 specializations: Mechanical, CSE, IT, ECE, Civil, and EEE. All the branches are accredited by NBA and also hold international accreditation from HLACT, Texas UK. RRCE offers M Tech in two streams: computer science engineering & digital electronics & communication engineering. In contrast, the newly introduced streams under B Tech are  Robotics & Automation and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.

VTU committees evaluate all the courses to ensure transparency & credibility. In contrast, all the courses follow the VTU prescribed curriculum, which will be revised and updated regularly. The learning methodology emphasizes classroom lectures, self-learning, projects, assignment, guest lectures, practical sessions, etc.

Raja Rajeswari college of engineering courses admissions is done per the guidelines specified by KEA, Government of Karnataka. Students who have qualified in the KCET Examination as per the Raja Rajeswari college of engineering KCET Cut off will have all the possibilities of being admitted through CET Counselling. It also accepts the valid scores of JEE Main, COMEDK, KRLM, and AIET. The individuals interested in taking admission can register themselves for various entrance examinations. A minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Electronics & computer science as optional subjects. Lateral entry is applicable for diploma students. For M Tech, the preferably accepted score is GATE or KPGCET. Admission to the Raja Rajeswari College MBA is based on CAT, XAT, MAT, KMAT, or KPGCET. For MCA, 50% in graduation with computers or sciences as subjects and Karnataka PGCET score. Also, certain seats are reserved for Raja Rajeswari college of engineering Management Quota. Suppose students' examination rank is not up to the cut-off norms. They can opt for management seats. The KCET cut-off for B.Tech computer science engineering 2022 has been 28165.

To qualify for a B-Tech seat at RRCE, applicants must have passed in 10+2 and appeared for KCET or COMED K or JEE Main scores. If they have secured the eligible rank then they can approach for direct admissions.

To get admission to the B-Tech program at RRCEMS, the applicants must have done the 10th and 12th board exams followed by COMED K or KCET cut-off scores. If they haven't met the minimum cut-off scores, then they can apply for direct admission by contacting the admission authorities.
