Christ University in Bangalore, India, started as "Christ College" in 1969. Later, UGC gave it autonomy and recognized it as an excellent institution. After that, MHRD granted it university status. It was the first Indian institution to get a top grade from NAAC. This University focuses on teaching and research. It has over 20,000 students, 800 teachers, and more than 700 international students from 58 countries.

Christ has earned high rankings for its excellent academics. In NIRF, Christ University Bangalore's ranking is 189 for B Tech. It secured 16th position in law and reached 72nd place for MBA. In QS India Rankings 2020, it was placed between 20 and 25. In the last 20 years, Christ has excelled in placements. About 150 companies visit annually, with a growing number each year. Is Christ University good for placement?

Christ University has a good placement rate, with between 70% and 80% of students getting placed. The most expensive package available is INR 36 LPA. Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Bain Capability Network, Exxon Mobil, and JP Morgan Chase are a few of the leading employers.
